Attention all foodies, if you didn’t already know, it’ official, Healdsburg has been designated as a top foodie destination in the country.  If you are considering a trip to northern Sonoma County make sure you put Healdsburg on your list!  This charming little wine country town is packed with a plethora of culinary treasures from California casual to fine dining chic. With so many amazing places to see and so much great food and wine to taste, reservations for many of these foodie hotspots are hard to come by. Travel and Food experts are often spreading the love of our small town charm and amazing food and wine. And hot off the press  is another great mention in the Conde’ Nast Traveler Readers’ Poll, sharing the news that Healdsburg was voted as one of the “top 10 foodie destinations in the country”.

If you’re here for a few days you might look for a special winemaker dinner. A great place to look for these special activities and events is on the Wine Road calendar.  And, if you happen to be in Healdsburg on a Tuesday evening this summer, you can enjoy a free concert in the Plaza. With more than 35 wine tasting rooms in town you can enjoy many of Sonoma County’s best wines by just spending a couple of hours sipping and strolling the downtown or First Street areas.
