Spring is in the air, the farms have a host of spring crops and baby animals to see, and the vineyards are dotted with bud break. Add in some warm sunny days and a mix of wine, food and fun and you have the perfect wine country trip! So whether you walk or run, we suggest you come for a day or weekend trip to enjoy Sonoma County in spring. April and May offer some spectacular activities and events and here’s just a few to get you excited.

I Heart Wine. Walk. Healdsburg hosted by more than 30-plus wineries in downtown Healdsburg, Wine.Walk.Healdsburg will celebrate the American Heart Association’s National Walking Day on April 9th, 2016 from 12pm to 4pm. The event will feature complimentary tastings in thirty-plus world class tasting rooms, all within walking distance of each other. To learn more or buy tickets visit Wine.Walk. Healdsburg . Did you know that Wine Road, an association of wineries and lodgings in the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Valleys of Northern Sonoma County is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year? You can explore and learn more about many of the wineries on May 7th as they celebrate Explore Wine Road. Meet winery owners, take a cellar tour or chat with a winemaker and learn about the rich history of Northern Sonoma County.  Or if you want to put on your dancing shoes and wine & dine the night away at the 40th Anniversary Ruby Affair, you can do that too!
